A. Child Policies & Pricing

 

1. Children Under 5 Years Old (Infants & Toddlers)

Service	Regulation and Entitlements
Tour Fee	Free of Charge ( of the basic tour fee).
Transportation	No separate seat provided on the transfer vehicle (must sit with an adult).
Accommodation	Must share existing bedding with parents (Share Bed).
Meals	No separate meal portion included; the child shares the parents’ meal allowance.
Tickets/Other Fees	Air/train tickets (if applicable) must be paid at of the carrier’s rate from 2 years old and above. Travel insurance fees may apply.

 

2. Children from 5 to Under 10 Years Old

Service	Regulation and Cost
5 to Under 8 Years	Charged at 50% of the adult tour rate.
8 to Under 10 Years	Charged at 75% of the adult tour rate.
Transportation	Provided with a separate seat on the transfer vehicle.
Accommodation	Must share existing bedding with parents (Share Bed). An extra bed request will incur an additional fee.
Meals	Provided with a separate meal portion (standard adult meal, or a child’s meal upon request).
Tickets/Entrance Fees	Entrance fees are calculated based on the child’s height as required by individual attractions (e.g., to under may be charged a child rate; or above is often charged as an adult). See Important Note below.

 

3. Youth/Teenagers 10 Years Old and Above

Service	Regulation and Cost
Tour Fee	Charged at 100% of the adult tour rate.
Accommodation	Must be counted as an adult, requiring a separate bed.
Single Supplement	If this individual occupies a room alone, the Single Supplement fee will be applied as per the package regulations.

 

General Booking Rules and Important Notes

• Airline Ticket Cost: For domestic and international flights, children 2 years old and above are generally charged of the adult ticket price (or a high percentage depending on the class).
• Entrance Ticket Discrepancy (Height vs. Age): Please note that many tourist attractions, parks, and historical sites in Vietnam base their entry fees on height (e.g., between and) rather than age.
• MANDATORY Communication: To avoid misunderstandings or unnecessary complications, all information regarding the height, age, and relationship of every member in your group must be clearly and accurately communicated to the VTH Travel team during the consultation process. Accurate information ensures correct pricing and booking of services.
• Room Occupancy Limit: A maximum of two children (under years old, sharing beds) are permitted to stay in one room with two accompanying adults.

1. Important Advice: Confirm Your Service Availability FIRST

 

We strongly advise that you contact our VTH Travel Team (Sales Consultants) for free advice and service confirmation BEFORE you proceed to payment.

• Why You Must Check First: Many popular tours, hotels, and local services in Vietnam can be fully booked, especially during high season, holidays, or for last-minute requests. If you book and pay immediately without confirmation, and the service is unavailable, processing a refund becomes a complicated administrative task for both parties. This delay can negatively affect your overall experience and the arrangement of your travel schedule in Vietnam.

 

• When to Check: Please check availability with us first, especially if you have:

 

a) – Urgent Bookings (within days of arrival). This applies most often to short trips like:

• • Half-Day Tours: Such as scooter tours, food tours, or cultural excursions lasting hours.
  • Full-Day Tours: Such as a City Tour, Ninh Binh Day Trip, or Halong Bay -Day Cruise.

 

b) – Longer Tours & Packages: For tours lasting days (e.g., Halong Bay or Sapa) or extended multi-day packages, confirming availability is always mandatory and should be done well in advance, as these require detailed coordination and service checks between our team and you before booking is finalized.

 

c) Bookings that fall during Vietnamese National Holidays (e.g., Tet), when some services may not operate.

 

• The Benefit: Getting confirmation from us first helps us guarantee your spot, prevents unnecessary financial complications, and ensures a seamless trip itinerary.

 

 

2. Booking Procedure

 

To confirm your private tour, a deposit equal to 50% of the total tour fee is required.

• Standard Deposit: A single payment of 50% confirms your trip right away.
• Early Booking Option: For tours booked far in advance, you can pay an initial 20% deposit first. The final 30% deposit must be paid before the specified Cut-Off Date for your specific group size.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance (50%) will be paid when you arrive in Vietnam.

 

 

3. How to Make Payment (Secure & Trusted)

• Payment Gateway: Our website, paradisetrips.vn, uses the secure online payment gateway 9Pay.vn. 9Pay is a highly trusted and reputable third-party payment provider in Vietnam.
• Security & Convenience: The secure 9Pay payment code is embedded directly in the price checking section of each tour. When you decide to book, you will proceed directly to this gateway to make your deposit payment using your international credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). You can feel completely confident and secure during this process.

 

4. General Terms and Conditions

• Currency Note: All tour prices are officially shown and charged in United States Dollars (USD).
• Exchange Rate: If you pay in a currency other than USD, the exchange rate used will be the online exchange rate at the exact time your payment is processed.

 

5. Cancellation Policy

 

If you need to cancel, please send us a written request (by email). The fee you pay (or the amount we keep) depends on how close the cancellation is to your arrival date and the size of your group.
